When it comes to cars, GMC is known for producing some of the best vehicles the market has to offer, and their SUVs are no exception. This year, the 2022 GMC Acadia is offered in 4 different trim levels – each providing an opportunity to make the car your own. With every trim level offering different features, we’ve put together the top information you need to know so you can decide which vehicle is best for you.

Basics About the 2022 Acadia

With all four trim levels having an available seating of 7 people, you can take anybody with you on your next adventure. The entry-level trim is the Acadia SLE, and the options increase as you move up to the Acadia Denali. Safety features come standard on all trim levels. Cosmetic changes include display sizes and interior design options.

Trim Levels SLE & SLT

Both the SLE and SLT trims offer 22 mpg in the city with 29 mpg on the highway. Both come standard with a 2.0L Turbocharged engine, three rows of seating, and rear cross-traffic alert. The SLE’s 18” aluminum wheels stand out with dark accents, and the interior of the car features jet-black cloth seating. The SLE can tow up to 3,500 lbs when properly hitched.

The SLT towing cap reaches up to 4,000 when you choose to upgrade to a 3.6L V6 engine, and the interior instead has leather-appointed first and second-row seating. At this trim level, the 8” GMC Infotainment system comes standard (and with all increasing trim levels), along with the opportunity for the High-Definition Surround Vision safety feature.

Trim Level AT4

Coming in with the previous features of the SLT, the AT4 takes things one step further with standard features like the Active Torque Control AWD, automatic emergency braking, and the Traction Select System. The interior features a black premium cloth or leather-appointed seating, both with heated front seats. Exclusive exterior features include a black chrome grille, 17” gloss black wheels with all-terrain tires, and specific AT4 badging.

Trim Level Denali

The highest trim level for the 2022 Acadia, the Denali offers everything previously and more. With 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, this vehicle comes standard with a Head-Up display, high-definition surround vision, and beautiful 20” machine aluminum wheels. With up to 79 cubic feet of cargo space (with the seats folded down), you’ll never need to make two trips. This trim also comes standard with a wireless charging pad and a Dual Skyscape Sunroof.

No matter what type of mid-sized SUV you’re looking for, the 2022 Acadia has you covered. From state-of-the-art safety features to exquisitely crafted interiors, you’ll fall in love with this modern, economic vehicle. Still have questions about which trim level is right for you?
