Test drive the all new 2024 Chevrolet Trax at Southworth in Bloomer today.

Having skipped the 2023 model year, Chevrolet’s all-new Trax features radical changes to its design and powertrain. The compact crossover has also been lengthened to provide more room for passengers and cargo. Read on to learn more about the 2024 Chevy Trax!

Power and Performance

Under the hood of every Trax model is a turbocharged 1.2L Ecotec inline-3 that develops 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This dependable motor combines with a 6-speed automatic transmission to deliver prompt and smooth acceleration while achieving up to an EPA-rated 32 MPG highway. An available engine block heater, which comes with active shutters on the lower front grille, enables quicker ignition during cold weather.

As for handling, the Trax’s compact size makes it easy to maneuver in crowded city streets. Excellent stability and minimal body roll when navigating through tight turns are a result of the vehicle’s finely tuned MacPherson strut front suspension and compound crank rear suspension.

Exterior

Compared to its previous iteration, the new Trax features a very aggressive design with its muscular lines and sporty front fascia that includes a large mesh grille. The LED headlights and taillights have been narrowed to give the vehicle’s look even more of an edge. Buyers can opt for 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels in a black finish and the Blackout Package, adding a black Trax nameplate and black bowtie emblems.

Interior

Just like the exterior, the passenger cabin has been given a racy overhaul. With the sleek dashboard, driver-oriented displays, and highly ergonomic controls, you’ll feel like you’re sitting in a sports car. There’s a generous amount of legroom in the front and rear at 41.9 inches and 38.7 inches, respectively. The standard 60/40 split-folding rear seating can be folded down to provide up to 54.1 cubic feet of cargo space.

Available single-zone automatic climate control, Evotex upholstery, and heated seats make it easy to keep cozy while you’re on the road. All models are equipped with an active noise cancellation system that absorbs vibrations and uses in-cabin microphones to greatly reduce road noise.

Infotainment System and Connectivity

An 8-inch high-definition touchscreen comes standard on the Trax, but you’ll be able to select an 11-inch display, as well. Either way, the infotainment system will provide support for wireless smartphone integration with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth audio streaming, and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.

If you have any new drivers in the family, Chevy’s Teen Driver technology offers reports on their driving habits, and it can even mute the radio until they fasten their seat belts.

Boasting head-turning style and a slew of upgrades, the Trax makes a triumphant return! Contact Southworth Chevrolet GMC today and schedule a test drive with the 2024 model!
